Gaku came from Japan in Mar 2005. This was the second time for him to come to catch a big hapuku. He was so happy with this hapuku. This one was bigger than the last time ones, but he promised to come again to catch a bigger hapuku than this one.

This time a 30kg kingfish which Chika caught was the best record for them.
They were so happy to catch many kingies.

Tetsu with a kingfish in Dec 2004 They were the last fishermen of 2004. Unfortunately the sea was rough, so their fishing was only for 3 hours. But they caught 12 kingfish and 3 hapuku. One of kingfish was a good one which Tetsu caught. Congratulations, guys!

A Happy New Year ! Naoki (with a kingfish) and his wife Ayako (with a kingfish) from Tauranga and his friend Akira (with a snapper) from Hokaido in Japan. They celebrated A New Year Day in 2004 with those fish !!!

Jiro from Japan comes regulaly here. At this time he came to catch a over 50kg hapuku. 2 hapukus were fished in Mar 2002. One is around 40kg!
