Lytton High School is a quality co-educational school founded in 1961 and dedicated to providing the highest quality of education for its 680 students. We welcome students from overseas and have done so for many years.
We have a highly trained teaching staff, modern facilities and high standards of discipline and behavior. Our school offers a full academic program preparing students well for University and Institutes of Technology. A wide range of sporting and cultural activities are also available.
We provide a full English Second Language program.
Our Director of International Students organises our homestay program and provides the link between the student's family, New Zealand family and the school. She/He also assists students with claims and any other matters concerning the student's welfare.
Our Dean of International Students is responsible for students welfare and academic progress within the school.
We believe we offer quality education with excellent resources and up to date
equipment.
Overseas students are important to us and we value their presence in our school.

Gisborne Boys' High School（男子校） Top

Gisborne Boys' High School is a traditional New Zealand school offering academic excellence through a modern education curriculum. Our students enjoy a wide variety of subjects providing numerous academic, technological and vocational opportunities. We have strong traditions in the full range of indoor and outdoor sports and are also proud of our Maori cultural activities. Students are prepared for ongoing polytechnic and university courses with a sound and varied secondary school education.
The school welcomes international Students and provides a caring environment. The school actively supports and participates in Student Exchange Programs. We have an annual exchange with a Japanese High School and have hosted overseas student groups. Trips for sport and culture are also encouraged. Students from Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu have attended our school.
Our students are expected and encouraged to achieve.
While with us students are personally cared for, supported in all endeavours and educated at the highest level.

The school welcome students from many countries.
Some stay for short terms only and others come to prepare for entry to New Zealand polytechnics and universities.

Many Girls' High students have international experience as exchange students or as members of student tours to countries such as Japan, Tahiti, Mexico, and Spain.
We also have teacher exchanges, and delegations of educators frequently visit to meet students and to discuss educational issues with staff.
